My Bio
I started drawing cartoons in 1992. For the next few years I practiced drawing comics, which were scripted on the spot and not planned at all. I started studying design in 2006 and graphic design in 2007. After that I was familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator enough to do more abstract, vector and digital based work. I still like 'cartoony' illustrations, since that's my style of drawing, but I'm also trying to improve my standard of photo-manipulation and other digital art. And I still make comics, though not as much as I used to.

I attended the first (ever) meeting of the Second Wednesday Comic Book Club at City Library on August 3. The title under discussion was the 11th Tintin book, The Secret Of The Unicorn. Tintin fans will know that this is the one that Spielberg has made into a film, which will be released towards the end of the year. That aside, it was good to just sit around and talk about comics with Bernard Caleo. We were going to do some drawing as well, but we ran out of time. Eleven people were there, including Bernard. Only two or three of us were really familiar with Tintin and Hergé! It'll be interesting to see how many come back next fortnight w

BFW! VW commercial: Hi, I earn six-figure sums sniffing coke. Put some dumb kid in a Vader mask and rape George Lucas' legacy! Masterchef: Not pretentiously using French as I disdainfully choke down what passes for a rococo of cous cous just won't do! C'est impossible! Youtube sensation: May I see your ID prior to your crack purchase? M.I.A.: Can you still have 'street cred' and keep 'smokin gangstaz' when you're up to your ears in used nappies and green diarrhoea? Nonesuch Blog

Just in case you don't know, I now have (well, since mid-April actually) a blog for all Nonesuch stuff, including sketches, finished art, photos, and more. You can see it here: http://nonesuch-pete.blogspot.com You won't be seeing anything here repeated on the blog. Good value, right? Nonesuch Design. "Everyone Else Has A Blog, So We Wanted One Too".

that good ideas for your drawings
Hey Pete, how's things?
Hey Chris, I'm not bad but pretty busy. I've been trying to put together five pages of killer material to try and impress some publisher types. It won't work, but I'll send it anyway. How are you doing?
Nice work Pete. Good on you for trying. Will it be released right here on dA?

I had a job interview at a studio a few weeks ago now. Didn't get it. :(

Been busy aswell with freelance work. Some days it's really exciting and I'm really busy, other days it's just a drag and I hate it. Having little work is really frustrating but having heaps is a pretty good.

I'm still hoping you jump back on FB so I have someone to talk to. ;)

Oh and I'm LOLing everytime Pumpkin Town comes on my iTunes at the moment. Second half of the song is killer. :D
I agree with Caroline. ;)
Enchanting Artwork and Style!

Well Done!
Thanks for the fav! C:
